New Jersey's 21 county vocational-technical school districts are fast becoming models for preparing high school students and adults for college and the careers of the 21st century.

Enrolling in a County Vocational-Technical School

Each school district operates independently and is governed by a Board of Education with support from their county Boards of Chosen Freeholders.

Under state law, any student who applies to and is accepted by a county vocational-technical school must be permitted by their home school district to attend. Because county vocational-technical schools are public school districts serving residents of their counties, there is never any cost to the parents or students either for enrollment or transportation.
