District Highlights
PCTI’s Academy of Finance proudly accepted two national awards for its partnership with a local bank, the Magna Award presented by the National School Boards Association with Sodexho School Services, and the Golden Achievement Award presented by the National School Public Relations Association. More recently, the “Banking for Success” partnership was honored with a Best Practice Award. Additionally, our three-time award-winning “Proud to be an American Campaign” brought home a honorable mention from the School Boards Association’s School Leader Award. Our extensive links to business and industry have opened many doors for our students. PCTI also remains committed to addressing the educational and training needs of the adult population. Each year, over 2,000 adults take advantage of these opportunities. We take great pride in the role PCTI plays in training and retraining the workforce to remain competitive in the workplace. PCTI is truly a “Beacon of Light for the 21st Century.”
Looking Ahead
At PCTI, we will be creating a world of harmony through Character Education. Expanded patriotic and charitable programs will educate the students’ hearts and build positive character traits. 2005 ushers in many exciting changes in our facilities, curriculum, student activities and athletics. As the first phase of our growth from 2000 to 3000 students begins, cutting-edge digital classrooms, a second media center, a new athletic complex, challenging courses such as advanced Japanese, and more are ready to educate and motivate young minds.
