The district began its affiliation with Intex over three years ago. The company has been actively involved with the internship program, placing students in internship positions within the company. For example, students in the welding program have worked in the production area for the construction of commercial grade steel doors and frames. Additionally, students from the Academy of Finance and International Business program have worked in the areas of bookkeeping, accounting and payroll.

Randy Chavarria, owner of Serene, Serene Salon in Denville, has been active on the Advisory Council of the Morris County Schools of Technology for several years. He has served as a guest speaker on numerous occasions for the School of Cosmetology, serving as a valuable resource to students.

2007—Arden Courts

Morris County School of Technology began its affiliation with Arden Courts in 2006 in order to provide practical clinical experience for 11th grade students from the Academy for Health Care Sciences. Since the inception of the program, the assisted living facility for patients with Alzheimer's disease has been most welcoming to students and is very accommodating of student schedules. During weekly visits, students learn how to interact with the residents at the facility who are in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer's disease and dementia, and they also assist the activities director in coordinating the program of the day.

2006—The United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 620

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 620 has been instrumental in keeping our carpentry program abreast of current and future market demands regarding the need for highly skilled laborers within the building industry. The carpenters union has emphasized to students that not only a skilled trade's person is needed in the field, but an educated one. Therefore, they have offered our students a comprehensive four-year apprentice program and the opportunity to accumulate college credits that would apply to either a two- or four-year college degree. The carpenters union has partnered with the carpentry program offering on-site visits as part of the YTTW grant program and a yearly tour of their training facility for the past six years. This relationship has resulted in many of our students joining the union and becoming carpenters.
