Mission and Overview

District Highlights
CCTS was selected one of the "Top Ten Wired Schools" in the nation by Family PC magazine. The Special Needs Division has been recognized for offering outstanding education and programming to disabled students. Since 1990, CCTS has exhibited at the prestigious Philadelphia Flower Show. Each year, students win awards at regional, state and national occupational competitions.
CCTS has been and continues to be resolute in the implementation of its mission, which is to assist youth and adults in acquiring and improving academic and occupational skills, thereby improving the quality of the county and regional workforce, and meeting economic development needs. Concurrently, CCTS continues to develop alliances and partnerships with local, regional and national businesses; employment and labor organizations; and community-based educational and occupational oriented agencies. The district employs a full-time job development coordinator to oversee the School-to-Careers program and assist students and graduates in securing employment.
Looking Ahead
CCTS is participating in the New Jersey Performanc Assessment Pilot Project, which is designed to augment the state’s standardized assessment. A new state-of-the-art science building and greenhouse is planned for the Pennsauken Campus.
The district is expanding high school articulation agreements, and on-campus and off-campus instruction conducted by Camden County College professors.
