About the Council

The New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools is an association of superintendents and school board members representing the state's 21 county vocational school districts. The Council is established in statute (P.L. 1993, ch. 302) to support and promote vocational, technical, and occupational education in New Jersey and make policy recommendations to the Department and State Board of Education and the Legislature.

Mission

The New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools is an association of diverse education leaders whose mission is to promote and enhance career and technical education opportunities through the 21 county vocational-technical school districts by influencing policy makers and the general public.
